How much does a website cost, and why are there no prices on the page?
Because an “online store” can mean 200 products without 1C or 40,000 with exchange, instalments and three warehouses — those are different budgets. A corporate website or landing page is estimated from the brief in one or two days, a store after reviewing the catalogue and integrations, a service after a spec. The estimate shows what makes up the total and what can be dropped for the first launch.
1C-Bitrix, Astro or something else?
1C-Bitrix when there is a catalogue, orders, 1C, payments and a customer account: that is its strength, and we have ready-made modules for it. Astro when the site is informational and has to be fast, secure and cheap to run: static, no database. Custom code for services with non-standard logic. We do not build on WordPress or site builders: they are expensive to maintain and to protect.
Who owns the code and the design?
You. The repository, Figma sources and 1C-Bitrix licence are registered to your company. Hosting can stay with us or move anywhere — nothing ties the site to us except the wish to keep working together.
Do I need a 1C-Bitrix licence, and how much is it?
For a site on 1C-Bitrix — yes; the edition depends on the task: for a store it is usually “Small Business” or “Business”. The licence is bought once in your company’s name; after that you renew the updates. Prices and editions are on the licence page; a site on Astro needs no licence.
How do we connect the site to 1C?
The standard 1C-Bitrix exchange with 1C: goods, prices, stock, orders and statuses on a schedule. For non-standard configurations and special rules (several warehouses, prices by customer group, reserves) we write our own exchange. We test it on the real database before launch.
We have an old website. Will we lose our search rankings?
Not if the move is done properly. We keep or redirect every URL, carry over copy and meta tags, set up the sitemap and schema markup, and watch indexing for the first few weeks. That is part of the launch, not a separate service.
Who fills the site with content?
By agreement. Usually product cards come from 1C, the client provides copy and photos, and we structure and publish them. If there is no content, we prepare it: copy, photo editing, product descriptions — priced separately by volume.
