Instalments and credit module for 1C-Bitrix

Instalments on your website, so customers don’t leave for Kaspi to get them

In Kazakhstan, people are used to buying expensive things in instalments. If your website doesn’t offer them, customers go where they can get them. We connect Kaspi Red instalments, a credit broker with several banks or a bank directly to your 1C-Bitrix store, and show the monthly payment where the customer makes the decision.

Three paths

Kaspi Red, a broker or a bank directly

The choice depends on how your customers pay and whether your store has a contract with a bank. Paths are often combined: Kaspi for those who pay via Kaspi, and a broker for everyone else.

Kaspi Red

Instalments in the Kaspi app

The customer pays via Kaspi QR and chooses Kaspi Red instalments or credit in the app.

Suits you
if your customers already pay via Kaspi.
Keep in mind
you need to register in Kaspi Pay; Kaspi sets the terms and fees.

Broker

One application, several banks

The customer signs in with their IIN and an SMS code, the application goes to several banks at once, and they choose the offer that suits them.

Suits you
if what matters is that the customer gets approved somewhere: the chances are higher than with a single bank.
Keep in mind
a contract with the broker; the broker’s ready-made widget is heavy, so we connect it carefully.

For example, Brokerage24.

Bank

A module for your partner bank

If your store already has an online lending contract with a bank, we connect that bank directly via its API.

Suits you
if you have already agreed terms for your customers with the bank.
Keep in mind
one bank means one decision: if it declines, the customer needs another payment method.

For example, Home Credit Bank or Eurasian Bank.

How the customer applies

Five steps from the cart to “Loan issued”

The customer doesn’t go to a bank or fill in the form again for every bank. Through a broker, everything happens online, and the store sees the result in the order.

Two integration options

Where the customer chooses an offer

There are two ways to work with a broker. The first is faster and cheaper, the second is more convenient for the customer. Which one is available depends on the broker’s API.

On the broker’s page

After placing the order, the customer goes to the broker’s page and chooses an offer there.

  • simpler and cheaper to connect;
  • faster launch;
  • the design and texts are the broker’s and cannot be changed.

Right at checkout

The customer sees bank offers on your website and stays there until the loan is issued.

  • your design and texts;
  • more trust: the customer stays in your store;
  • the integration is more complex and takes longer.

Where to show it

Instalments sell when customers see them early

If customers only learn about instalments at the last step, they have already left to compare prices. We show them where the decision is made.

Catalogue and product page

“From … ₸ a month” next to the price and a “Buy in instalments” button, if the broker or bank provides terms for the calculation.

Cart

The monthly payment for the whole purchase: the customer sees they can take several items at once.

Checkout

A separate “Instalments, credit” payment method next to card and Kaspi, so the customer picks the one that suits them.

The broker’s widget shouldn’t slow down the whole website

Ready-made widgets can be heavy: on one project, an instalment widget added more than a megabyte of scripts to every page, including sign-in and the cart. We load it only where it is needed, and the other pages open just as fast.

Setup

How we set up instalments

You sign the contract with the broker, the bank or Kaspi. The technical side is ours: from choosing a path to the first application.

01

Choosing a path

We look at your average order value, what the store sells and how customers pay. We recommend Kaspi Red, a broker, a bank or a combination.

02

Module and payment method

We install a ready-made module or write our own using the broker’s or bank’s API. We add the “Instalments, credit” payment method and set up order statuses.

03

Monthly payment on the website

We show the payment in the catalogue, on the product page and in the cart if the provider supplies the terms. We load the widget only on the pages that need it.

04

Testing and launch

We run test applications in the provider’s test environment and check the application flow on desktop and mobile, as well as the return to the store.

What we need from you

  • a contract with a broker or a bank, or registration in Kaspi Pay;
  • a 1C-Bitrix website with the “Online Store” module: the “Small Business” edition or higher (licences);
  • the provider’s API documentation and access to the website.

What’s included

  • help with choosing a path;
  • installing a ready-made module or developing a custom one;
  • the payment method and order statuses;
  • the monthly payment on website pages;
  • test applications and launch.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who pays for the instalments?

The terms for the customer and the fee for the store are set by the bank, the broker or Kaspi. The module doesn’t change them.

When does the store receive the money?

Once the loan is issued, the bank or broker transfers the money; the timing is set out in your contract with them.

What happens if the bank declines?

Through a broker, several banks consider the application at once, so the chances are higher. If they all decline, the order isn’t lost: the customer can pay another way.

Can it be combined with Kaspi QR?

Yes. At checkout the customer chooses: Kaspi with Kaspi Red instalments, instalments via a broker or bank, or card payment.

Which integration option should I choose?

The broker’s page is faster and cheaper. Applying right on your website is more convenient for the customer and uses your design, if the broker’s API allows it.

Will the widget slow down the website?

We load it only on the pages that need it: the product page, the cart and checkout. Other pages don’t load it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the path and the integration option: whether there is a ready-made module and whether you need your own checkout design. We’ll quote a price once we’ve looked at your store.
