The Youth Research Center was established in 2012 by the order of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev. The main goal of the YRC "Youth" is to provide scientific, analytical, informational, and advisory support to the institutions of state youth policy for the development of youth.
Since 2012, the YRC "Youth" has published 7 national reports on the state of youth policy, conducted more than 30 applied research studies, and developed over 30 methodological guides. Additionally, more than 50 training modules have been conducted to enhance the qualifications of specialists in local executive bodies, youth committees, and youth organizations.
The results of research, presented in analytical notes by region, are sent to local executive bodies to highlight specific problem areas in the youth environment. Based on the research findings, regional akimats (administrations) shape local budgets in the field of youth policy, addressing the issues and needs of the younger generation identified by YRC experts.
